Israeli-Palestinian War

I found something that describes the war exactly how I see it.

Palestine

You have two cows, whose ancestors 2,000 years ago belonged to the Jews. The British then come over and give them to Israel. You get your neighbors to fight Israel, and Israel beats the crap out of them and takes their cows too. Israel then offers to give one cow back, which you refuse. You then bomb the cows out of spite. You and the Jews now bomb each other on a regular basis, even though the cows are all dead.

This war is stupid. Both sides are trapped in a never-ending cycle of revenge. Organizations in other countries, such as the U.S and Arab countries, use this war for their own purposes. Conservative Christians say that we must support Israel. They say that if Israel gives up territory, it will be attacked by rockets launched by Palestinian terrorists who have an easier time hitting their targets. Why not just stop the arms trade, which almost all conservatives refuse to discuss? That's how the terrorists get their weapons. Arab dictators use it as a way of getting the people to focus on something else instead all the problems at home. So no one actually wants the war to stop, because it is one of the ways they stay in power. Just have a war that no one will win and get your side to believe that if they try hard enough, they will win. This seems a lot like 1984...
